      SPC Flooring

      SPC flooring (Stone Plastic Composite), is a luxury flooring option that uses a mixture of limestone and stabilizers at its core to provide a core that is very durable. It is impact resistant, scratch resistant, scuff resistant, slip resistant and moisture resistant. It’s very easy to clean and maintain. That said… be vigilant in protecting your floors appearance. Use castors or felt padding on the bottom of furniture.

      Laminate

      Laminate is incredibly durable and easy to maintain. It’s kind to allergies and a cost effective way to create the appearance of a natural floor. You should always fit laminate flooring on top of underlay, this stops the laminate from banging against the subfloor, reduces noise. The subfloor should always be checked for moisture as too much moisture can have an detrimental impact on the boards performance. You should always ensure the subfloor is flat, clean, dry and sound before fitting commences.

      Scratch resistant, however, not scratch proof. Be vigilant in protecting your floors appearance. Use castors or felt padding on the bottom of furniture. It is advisable to remove outdoor footwear before walking on the laminate. Also bear in mind that pets can struggle to grip to the surface and can scratch the surface.

      Be careful when cleaning. It is advisable to use the manufacturer recommended cleaning fluids and to follow the recommendations for cleaning. Excess moisture should be dried up immediately.

      We sell 2 types of LVT… ‘Dry back’ and ‘Click’

      Dry back needs to be stuck to your floor, where as ‘Click LVT’ is a floating floor and clicks together.
